PCQI Human Foods Training
This 3-day training class is designed to help professionals understand how to develop and implement a Food Safety Plan with Preventive Controls in compliance with the FDA's Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA), specifically the Preventive Controls for Human Food (PCHF) Rule.  This curriculum, developed by the Food Safety Preventive Controls Alliance (FSPCA), is the only "standardized curriculum" recognized with FDA and one way to meet the training requirements for a Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI). Our instructors are FSPCA PCHF Lead Instructors, and individuals that complete this course will receive a PCHF Certificate of Training from FSPCA.  
Note: The course contains knowledge checks and a score of 70% or higher must be earned on each knowledge check to successfully pass the course.  
Who Should Attend the PCQI Human Foods Training
This course is for food and beverage company employees responsible for food safety.

What You Will Learn in this PCQI Human Foods Training 
During this 22 hour in person PCQI Human Foods Training course, you will learn about:
	- Requirements of a Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI) and FDA's requirements for the FSMA Preventive Controls for Human Foods Rule.
 
	- How to identify biological, chemical, and physical food safety hazards and preventive controls in food and beverage processing. 
 
	- How to develop and implement a Food Safety Plan, which includes:  flow diagram, hazard analysis, preventive controls, verification, validation, corrective actions, and recall. 
 
	- How to develop and implement supporting programs and food safety documentation/records, which include: preventive controls procedures, prerequisite control programs (good manufacturing practices, allergen control, foreign object detection and prevention, chemical control, sanitation, supply-chain controls, etc.), monitoring records, etc.
